Like all great tech companies, Ultimate Technology Experience—UTX for short—came from humble beginnings. Ed Podowski launched UTX in 1995, designing websites in the basement of his home in Lutherville, Maryland, and soon was able to expand the scope of UTX and manage information technology for a variety of Baltimore-area businesses. In 2011, Ed opened the first Computer Clinic location in Cockeysville, providing computer repair and maintenance.
In 2018, UTX was the natural successor to continue the legacy of Hampden’s famous Little Shop of Hardware, a neighborhood fixture since 1989. Both convenient Baltimore-area locations offer repair, new and refurbished hardware sales, managed IT services, web design, and much, much more!
